Kasnaty Presents Car To Ace Yoruba Actor, Empowers 150 Senior Citizens in Ogun

An Abeokuta based freelance broadcaster in Ogun State, Kolawole Adejojo has empowered a veteran Yoruba actor, Pa Tunbosun Odunsi and 150 elderly people across the state.

Adejojo, popularly known as Kasnaty presented a Toyota Camry 2.0 to the “Crying Actor” during the end of the year get – together programme with the elderly held in Abeokuta.

The broadcaster also presented cash gifts to the 150 aged people as part of the efforts to cushion the effect of the economic hardship on them.

He told newsmen that the end of the year event was part of his programme “Kasnaty Voices on the street”, which seeks to help the needy in the society.

The freelance broadcaster explained that funds for the programme were donations from audience both locally and internationally.

Adejojo said “I have been doing the programme on the street. I just felt we should gather the aged together for a get together programme. I did it last year as an end of the year party.

“This year’s edition, we have about 150 aged people on ground and each of them collected N5, 000.

“I have enjoyed tremendous support for the programme from the audience both locally and internationally. It has been a yearly programme.”

Responding, Odunsi applauded the gesture of the broadcaster and urged others to emulate him helping the needy and the aged in the society.

He said “I’m so happy that I don’t know what to say. This is the second time that people would just decide on their own do me a favour. Afeez Owo did it first. Kasnasty has done the same.

“I didn’t believe him because a number of people have interviewed me with various promises without any result. We started as a joke and it has come to fruition. Glory be to God.”
